Bring it on

[nav786_nitro]

Does he have it in +R mode? Looks like he doesnt.

Also he says +R mode is unbearable on UK roads. I always drive in +R mode and other then the odd pothole it seems fine.

What would you expect?

The Clubsport S needs to be tested against the R. Not this just fancy GTI. Worthless test.

[Lewisgame]

To be expected really.
Clubsport is a road car that's been adapted to 'track'.
Type R was developed on a track.

Type R FTW once again. I think some of the earlier crappy tests and reviews have misled people into buying the RS when it's probably the inferior car

Is this not a different car to the one that they did the ring time in, did it not have an S in its title.

Correct this isn't the same Golf that you can buy that's the exact specification that has set the Nordschleife lap record...

Correct, this Clubsport is very different to the Clubsport S.

The S is a striped out 2 seater model with 310bhp and a limited run of 400 units I believe

Agreed, no problem for me at all.

And this is why I will never own a Golf... they all look the exact same and nobody knows the difference.

the RS maybe alittle faster but in my eyes looks like a rep mobile beside 4x4 is only really good in the wet or snow i should know had a xr4x4 turbo before and i never raced it in the wet just too much to go wrong too quickly
getting a black GT type R on the 20th and then alittle run in and straight to AMD chip ,filter ,boost hoses ,intercooler ,and boost divierter valve ,then we will see how the RS does again 380bhp and a lighter car :Woot: :Woot: :Woot:
