Fitted 4-2-1 manifold with M2 2.25" b pipe lately and having some loud vibrations going on since from somewhere in engine bay. Noticed the manifold was touching the arb so moved the arb along to give some clearance but something still Vibrating causing an awful noise when past 4K revs. Noise coming from engine bay not under car, exhaust isn't touching anywhere either.

Anyone experienced something similar? I've read people upgrading engine mounts after installing a 4-2-1 but would this cause a vibration noise if running the oem mounts? It is absolutely doing my Flipping head in and I can't seem to get any further with solving this.

Engine mount inserts are to prevent the exhaust moving and splitting the flexi, it makes the car vibrate a lot more but stop the engine from moving as much. In your case it must be hitting something somewhere, fitting inserts wont fix the vibrate you will have to find where its hitting, i do advise fitting inserts though now you have a 4 2 1

Which 4-2-1 is it? I've got the tegiwa one and i needed the motor mount insert and jdm arb fitted to avoid any contact/vibration
