Has anyone had 5.1 land on a N5 yet?

A lot of sites are saying avoid the update due to some glaringly massive memory leaks.

5.0 has a massive memory leak. 5.1 fixes it but introduces a smaller one

According to some of the blogs from places like Android Pit 5.1 is actually as bad as 5.0

Better off going from the AOSP code source comments and product feedback forums.

5.0 had a system memory leak which caused it to crash and hang constantly. Most people, including myself had to restart at least twice a day.

5.1 fixed this, but some how introduced a memory leak which would cause apps to crash. Doesn't happen very often, think I've had it a few times. Google have fixed it, just not released it yet

Yup its expensive - i am going to wait a couple of months. But its getting some dam good reviews.

Decided on the regular S6 after watching/reading the reviews

The edge no doubt looks wonderful however it's just a gimmick. Plus on videos there is slight distortion on both the edges as it isn't flat.

Ive Pre ordered mine from amazon.de, because of the Euro the 32gb model was around £540... £60 cheaper :bigthumb:

I want to try a new rom on my 2012 N7 so would also be interested to see what people use, as the stock google one is too slow now with the small amount of ram the device has.

actually had a hard lock on my n5 last night, had to let it run out of juice before I could get it back, I've also noticed facebook app crashing (closing) and momentarily freezing quite often

The memory leak is definitely still there. Nowhere near as bad as the previous release but still pretty poor. FB is definitely one of the worst for exhibiting this I agree.

One reset per day solves that. I even started from a fresh install as well and it makes no difference.

Had to go back to kitkat after the disaster of lollipop

Doesn't the OnePlus One have the Snapdragon 801?
