Getting any rubbing on 225 wide?
I run the RSR all round and managed to get them to last a year, that includes around 4 track days and 10k of road mileage. And to be honest they had life left in them when I changed them, but I crashed on track so decided whilst it was off the road I'd get new tyres all round. I highly rate them, the grip is unreal for a road tyre, and they are decent in the wet too. Can't go wrong for £100 a corner. I run the 235/40/17
Holy hell, and you get no issues with scrub? Could be properly worth a shout

Update time

Started off with swapping the exhaust manifold and cat back, I opted for the Tegiwa manifold (toda rep) I'm really happy with the quality, the welds and workmanship are great, also opted for the Tegiwa cat back (fujitsubo rep) I got it 2nd hand off a civic cup car but it was in good condition. The Tegiwa manifold requires a jdm front arb as the uk doesn't offer the clearance needed so I fitted some hard race front droplinks to go with it.

Also iv bought a 2nd set of lower front arms which I'm going to clean up, powder coat and polybush with some superpro castor increase bushes and some buddy club rcas

Well a lot has changed with the civic since the last update

I bought some yellowspeed track Coilovers and fitted them, I had a few issues with getting the rear suspension off but with abit of help off a grinder they were off.

I had a trip down to see Area motorsport and I'm now running a kazz plated diff coupled with a mfactory 5.8 final drive, the car feels so much more aggressive and somehow torquey, also had my poly bushed arms and sump baffle, shortened track rods fitted at the same time coupled with an aggressive geo setup the car handles amazing, very predictable and feels like it's on rails

Also bought a kpro with a tuned map which now makes the car pull like a train.

Aswell as the above also got hold of a Stoptech BBK and complimented them with some Hel lines and some super blue racing brake fluid

Then I decided to give the new tegiwa rear ARB kit, feels exactly the same as a progress pointy front end and oversteer when you want

Only bad part of the fd is that it shortens all gears. 1st gear no problem... but 2nd gear... depending on your bhp and tq numbers can be a bad decision.
Didn't you think about installing a 3rd,4th & 5th shorter gears to make things perfect?

love the diff yeah i would imagine its pretty similar to the kaaz. it really does pull you round to the point where you have to counter steer. it's pretty noisey with all sorts of clunks and bangs with any low speed lock on the steering, quite amusing with some of the funny looks you get pulling into a petrol station ect  When will we see this out on track then?

I'm staying n/a so altering gears isn't on my list, Iv had a 5.46fd on my old ep but with this just being a toy I opted for the more aggressive 5.8, I swapped the FD for added acceleration and drive ability on track which gives.

Yea it's a right laugh the clunks and bangs make unaware passengers have a moment lol. Hoping soon just a few fits to finish off and then she's ready, do you have any track days booked?

I would mate but I've been putting funds into chassis and engine. I picked up some evo 8 Mr alloys to get me by for now the usual 17x8 et38 so should be nice for the wider tracker 32mm per side if I'm right
