You can drag and drop but the players might not support the particular format which you acquired the video in. The conversion is quick and easy.

BBC News suites me. I have the 'top stories' on my home screen and they can be set to automatically update.

Seem to have found another bug for you then. Have a file on Google drive (excel file), that when I open on my phone, it doesn't show me the newest version of the file (that I updated on my PC), it shows some older version that my phone probably stores in memory.

Also no, there are no duplicate files.
