I have a HTC One X (since release in 2011) it's still going strong. Gem has a One S which is the same age and also faultless. I guess you had a dud.

They are getting replaced with a pair of N5's in April.

Think the N5 is an O2 exclusive on contract. Carphone warehouse sell the N5 on O2, but 16GB only.

On their refresh tariff the N5 32GB works out at £390 over the 2yrs, but with £121 cash back via TCB.

I've currently got an N4 on giffgaff but will be getting the N5 on O2 at the weekend. I need tethering and O2 is the only network I can get signal on at work.
