To be fair I know several people who use laptops for gaming on but compared to the PC lot they're definitely in the minority.

My laptop can be used for gaming, its pretty damned high spec, but my desktops muller it.

alot of laptops are useable for alot of games even the normal laptops can be acceptable if the game isnt a pisspoor console port.

Other than the fact it can fail at the task it was designed for it's almost unnoticeable. The vast majority of PC gamers are online 100% of the time making DRM is a non issue
Give me a time other than not having an internet connection that DRM has affected your life.

People don't game with laptops sat on the sofa unless it is a game not requiring any reaction to it. They usually end up on a desk with a mouse and/or keyboard plugged into them, sometimes even a monitor, essentially turning them back into a PC. Chances are they are in range of a ISP as well at the time. Or they have a mobile phone that can tether fast enough to allow authentication for DRM

I can see the new Xbox and ps4 having pretty similar specs, so no doubt the majority of games will be the same. It's really going to come down to exclusive content, online experience and most importantly, what system your friends use as that is usually the major defining factor

no i didnt take the majority stance at all fella
when i use laptop i tend to use a board for 2 reasons
1 the fans are almost always on the bottom so it stops it from cooking itself
2 i use a mouse with it


is your internet 100% reliable? mine never has been EVER wherever iv lived and whoever the isp has been. when playing a single player game i dont find it acceptable to suddenly get booted off because im not not on the fuking internet at the time
i do use my phone to tether but signal is a fuking joke in this country
