Ok so ive been slacking on the updates recently, but that due to not having done much.

had some free time this weekend so finally got around to painting my RBC before it goes onto the car. hoping to get this fitted in the next few weeks and then book into TDI south to be mapped.

Was a pretty easy job, just primed the RBC with a bit of rubbing down and then gave it a few even coats of paint. I let it air dry over night and the baked it off in my oven for 30min @ 200, although this stunk the kitchen out and made me feel a little spaced out! :crazy:

cant wait to see the figures after map [smilie=karls_thumb.gif] What is the tegiwa short shift kit like...is it still good, heard that some arent very good quality

Cheers mate I'm just hoping it makes decent power! Shifter still feels good, it's a really simple piece of kit so can't imagine much that could go wrong with it.

So saturday was a productive day, painted the brakes and more importantly got the RBC fitted, followed one of the guides on here but still was a bit of a tricky job, was glad i had my mechanic mate on had to do the tricky stuff!

Now all that left to do is get it Mapped.

Finally got the car down to TDI South to the car mapped up. Really happy with the results the power delivery is much smoother and pulls hard through all the gears.

Here's the car on TDI's hub rollers.
