The one I put won't fray it's much tougher, it does bend and takes natural bends well. The plastic one you posted not strong if you ask me going through the Bend near the battery.

Fair enough, thing is, I got a strong two ply one currently that has already gone past the battery. The ineptention now is to connect my current caf to this new caf (whichever one it may be) , in either case, I am already past the dreaded battery.

Having said all that, would you still recommend your one, given that you have installed already... What is the space like underneath the battery and headlight area ... To the footlights duct,?

No prbs re feedback. Looks great.

Thoughts on above, going to order the caf soon.

The best way we found was through the gap we used and you have if you can get your pipe connected use that route mate as it will follow up to your intake right aswell

Good news for me Friday car flew through its MOT and I had oil service done with the Fuchs oil new braided brake lines and some new pads.

In the slow process now of changing all my tyres to uniroyal rain sports as I hate these potenzas so may have some for sale next few months.

No plans to do anything for a while with the car apart from polish up the headlights when get a dry day.

Well the roof rubbers have been annoying me lately as they have that horrible brown marking on them.

Here's how they looked





Scrubbed down with a green scouring pad and left to dry.



Gave them a spray with Vinyl spray paint






Have to say I'm not happy with the results, they look better from a distant but close up the paint hasn't taken well and I think they're have just had too much oxidisation.


May go over them again or may just go to honda one day and buy new ones.

rubber down with scotch pad and wet and dry to remove the mouldy marks then sprayed with a vinyl paint


the passenger side strip has reacted again so will need doing over but i blame marc for that cos he prepped that side,as you can see my side is fine [smilie=karls_thumb.gif]

Vinyl spray paint and elbow grease which isn't good for me who suffers with my once broken hand.

My strips were quite badly oxidised be interesting to see how it comes out on thorpys when they get done. May get another paint or like he said sand down again and spray back over. There's something causing a reaction that's for sure.

Just plenty of prep work, I thought they looked fine but needed more sanding so we spent time taking back off the coat of paint I put on. Once Leeds106 are done from scratch we can see how well the paint takes.

Well I found a how to guide on fitting DC5 pedals as I've also managed to get a full set including footrest, so soon as they arrive the task of fitting which leeds106 is going to kindly help me with lol

No mate I think it's got to be down to Honda using sh-t rubber as I had a 76 mini clubman gt ad an 83 mk1 golf and seen anything like it.

I'm just bone idle there's a difference, well bone idle when it comes to certain things, also second set of hands and eyes always helps lol
