Yep, that bad.
Even went as low as 10psi and the sidewalls were still like concrete. Abused them like jimmy Saville, smoke everything, and still no joy!
Actually managed a quicker time on my road tyres. Going down to 18psi on the road tyres really helped. Managed to hook up a 2.4 60 foot at York with a 0-60 of 5.9. On the slicks the best was a late 2.6 and then they still spun up into 2nd and 3rd!

Santa pod this weekend so if its dry hopefully a better surface!

And my kpro better have landed!!

they mop it with water and then tell you its glue i kid you not!
on big days i think they actually do glue it but not on normal rwyb days

yeah the surface at japshow is so much better than rwyb

since iv done half decent times iv not ran on a show day

i always ran better on.road tyres than track semis

i found 888s a mixed bag yes they were better off the line but there was alot more rolling resistance end result being slightly worse times overall my best times were all on road tyres
you could feel the 888s trying to peel the tarmac off at speed

Looking forward to next season as theres a few CTR's getting into the mid 13's now

I managed a 2.1 60ft on Toyo T1R's in a 2.0 Nova at York. Never really had a problem with the grip.

haha in the next year my times will prob go higher as i plunge more.into track.driving

will be at most drag days next year.but.mostly as a support vehicle.for my mates starlet that we drag slagging :p

Santa pod on Sunday, finally into the 13's. Would have been a lot quicker but no Nos as refill guy had an issue with his refill bottle.

So much better with kpro. The car just keeps on going.

Cheers bud, the kpro definitely helps as you can just keep in 4th. I'm not sure how long a gear change takes, but with what I planned for next year I hope to get well into 5th(poss into 6th?)

Must have been a cold day with nice dense air - 104.55mph is speed leader for NASP this year.

Was a chilly day! Maybe the AEM Cai had more of on pact than I thought. It was the first time I'd run on it that day.
Do you think it helped that it had been a damp morning so they had to dry the track with the machines?
