it may help ever so slightly but i havent done hours of track time with out it then the same track time with it to be able to tell but i doubt it would help massivly

Been measuring up mine - I think the set up is more important myself to ensure the air flows right ( Only way to do that is a wind tunnel though )

Ditto! Tyres look too small for the rims or really sh!t sidewalls! Can't see that helping handling at all! Good to see the car's getting pushed though! [smilie=karls_thumb.gif]

tyres are 215s so not massivly stretched

as above the dodgy looking kerb protector/lip when stretched looks funny

got the car back from TDI North today after having thr MFactory LSD and Carbon synchros fitted


first of a huge thanks for neil and TDI for getting it done for today, neil stayed behind of his own back.till silly o clock last night working on the gearbox!

dropped the car of on weds with the theory of getting it back.today,

then got a phonecall from paul at dinner yesterday saying there was a problem with the diff.... great,
the threads on the diff to bolt it to the final drive etc were crap and couldnt get a bolt in with out it ripping the bolt to bits...



so i rang tegiwa and then drove to pick another lsd up.and took it to tdi in hope they could get it done in time for.collection today, no chanve as the box was still.in bits and was 4 pm by the.time id got it there, and the ramp.my car was on was needed.today, but the hero neil stayed behind and finished it for.me, so.to my supprise i got.a.call.from.paul to say the car was done :p
the car feels.much better in the turns now,.not had a.major play with it just a few round abouts but really.impressed, the synchros make the changes smoother

i have been used to my crapy box though haha,

also paul put the car on the dyno and tweeked the map to suit the tegiwa exhaust, madr 5 more bhp over the hks all the way thru vtec

so all in all a great day

246 which was pretty much what i should of been, the hks had less top end but.more lower down power i.e before vtec

now iv lost bit low down but more than made up enough extra at the top end
be nice to see what i can run at pod now with.more power in every gear and an lsd

Bet it feels awesome. Should be able to knock a couple tenths off at pod I reckon. But should be night and day difference on track. Can't wait to have a go

Exactly where you want it. More useful than low down on a civic IMO.
