as my HKS is 130db at full wack i cant get on track so a quieter one was needed, the tegiwa is about 90db at full chat so a hell of alot of differance,


had an hour between getting home from stoke and going to a party so i didnt fit the exhaust... honest

before during and after the Removel of the bean can unsilenced HKS and fitting of the new Tegiwa!




















was a bit late to the party but meh haha

idle you cant even hear the exhaust, its so quiet its mad, after driving it about last night and today it started to get a bit more noise when booting it but all in all its no louder than a stock civic really haha quiet impressed with it though, the car pulls so much harder, i knew the old exhaust resticted my power but didnt realise by how much, its great haha

its slightly knocks on the ARB when on proper bumpy roads or cornering hard left atm, need to bend the brackets and get it to stop rattling,

Found out that Tegiwa are apparently aware of the problem and are going rectify it for the next batch of systems

What exhaust manifold are you running again?

I possibly might eventually go down route of piper exhaust mani + sports cat, tegiwa exhaust, gruppe m and k100 [smilie=karls_thumb.gif]

I'm not going get the RBC I think, all them mods will be enough in a daily driver for me, plus its about £300 towards handling mods [smilie=karls_thumb.gif]

Went on a track day thing few years ago in an Audi F3 car, overtook 4 people in one lap bit then got told to slow down and let people overtake me, will be different in my EP3

mate did a drivin exp in the beasty R8

wasnt allowed to use any gears apart from 3-4 and his instructor changed gear for him so couldnt even abuse those gears,
so he last min braked for a few laps till.got told off

It's crap ain't it. But my mate went room Thruxton and the instructor let him do like 140 in a Lamborghini

It did ruin experience for me when I couldn't go over 60MPH in an Audi TT
