Did you notice much improvement when you fitted the brake stopper?
Not really mate, i think its all in your head. Not to worry, only really brought it to see for myself, and cos it matches engine bay theme

Anyway, small update:

Took a trip over to CPL Racing (about 10 minutes from my house) to book it in for a service as Honda main dealers are a joke!
Checked out there 9 sec quarter mile car

Also had this 320bhp s/charged carbon clad cosmic over there! Very nice indeed!

Booked in for service, and have valve time checked. Sounds a little tappety to me at the moment (probably just in my head).
Also booked in to have a jdm rear arb fitted. Cant wait for this as ive heard its meant to be a good mod.

Couldnt leave empty handed, so ended up a bit lighter in the wallet but with a J's racing strut in my hand. Wasted no time in fitting this. Think it looks spot on but im going to get bren to spray the ends blue to match everything else (he doesnt know this yet) but will get it done along with something else at the same time that im thinking of.

Gotta save 1st though, which is sh*t.
All comments welcome!

Js Racing strut.. Just a little lighter then lol! Should have got the engine torque damper too :bigthumb:

I've heard a fair few people having knocking problems with Rob's b-pipes.. Although others saying they're excellent.. Will be interesting to see how you get on..

I'll be going to CPL soon to get mine lowered with a FRSU.. what's the service and quality of work like over there?

From what I've heard it's meant to be first class. But I will let you know how I get on after its been in. I didn't fancy getting the ETD as I've heard that they can cause rattles, so I think I'll just stick with what I've got at the moment.

Most of the reviews I've heard on b pipes have been spot on

It's over the last couple days I've seen posts where people have had issues with the exhaust knocking when installing one of robs b-pipes...

I'm not saying don't buy one as I'm looking to get one soon but have seen some issues with these..

First off i thought i would get a pic up of the settings that were made to my car when the FRSU was done at TGM last year:

Image

And also a picture of the Skunk2 lower control arms and rear tie bar that were installed at the same time. These are filthy at the moment but nothing a quick pressure wash wont sort.
You will also see the old arb on the floor, this is because I have now got a JDM arb on there. Got this installed last week whilst the car was in for a service over at CPL racing (cheers Guy).

Had the valve timing readjusted, along with transmission oil change as it was low
I thought originally that it was me being a bit over cautious that it was a bit tappety but it turns out that after the adjustments, I was right. It now runs very quiet and a lot smoother, so well happy there!
Jdm arb has very much increased rear end stiffness. I was a bit wary at first but am now loving it. Very decent mod.

Also fitted the carbon spark plug cover, along with some anodized blue washers and pro bolt nuts. These are dotted around the engine bay, and are a good replacement for some of the rusted ones!
Removed the Carbon vtec cover as I wont be able to refit this once the RBC goes on (which I just purchased).
Also painted the strut mounts in hammerite smooth blue to match everything up, was going to get Bren to do this but I thought I would give it a go myself and am very happy with the results.

Finally, a picture of it next to a very nice VXR Black that I saw in maidstone last week. Not to everyones taste but it did look nice!

Thanks for looking guys
