Soon I have to change oil,Is it true that a Shell Helix Ultra 5w40 is not full(100%) synthetic oil?,Is it better to put Motul 300 V Power 5w40?

I think the Helix Ultra is part PAO synthetic and part hydrocracked synthetic, so basically part genuine synthetic, part modified mineral oil. Guy knows the Shell oils better than me, but he's off this week.

The 300V is ester based so it is a better oil than the Helix Ultra anyway

It just needs to be a DOT4 or DOT5.1, Motul RBF600 is a very good one, Castrol Response or Motul DOT5.1 are good cheaper ones.

Hey Oilman would Castrol Edge 0-30w be ok for the CTR? Is it true like a colder grade burns easlier when up to full operating temperature meaning oil consumption?
