You cannot fit the Tegiwa induction kit with a modded scuttle of some sort. You need to send your scuttle off to a member called simonb......he will send you back a modded OEM scuttle panel for £25.

You can do it yourself........but I don't see why you would as there is simonb who has 3-4 modded ones ready to be posted the moment he receives your one in the post.

Again you CANNOT fit this induction kit unless you have a modded scuttle of some sort.

mattdowsing wrote:Thanks bluntcap. I thought you might say that, I'll get another one from work to send off, at least then I'll have an unmodded one if I want to return it to standard again
Yea that's a good idea......you work for honda mate?

Alright all, I'm getting one of these soon and I'm just wondering if there's anything else I need that doesn't come with the kit.

Unfortunately when I got the car there was some little bum bandit ebay filter installed, the OEM airbox was in the boot but none of the original fittings came with it. I think I have some of the bolts that were described before in the thread, just wondering if there's anything else. Thanks in advance!

Is this a copy of the O.E. K&N from the Gruppe M, or a genuine K&N filter they use too? Should have the K&N logo stamp'd repetedly along the fin metal strip part on the filter if it is one? :vconf:

Huge thanks for this guide; i assumed it'd be a breeze fitting it as i had a fair idea how it'd go together.

But through a mixture of confusion and minus 3 temperatures, i put the L bracket on the heat shield on facing upwards and forgot it could be rotated to mount to where it needed to go; had to go inside to thaw my hands out and searched for someone else's experience of fitting it.

Went on pretty quickly after i'd been made aware of my stupidity, even used the piece of foam and double sided tape to fix the inlet to the scuttle.

Truely comical induction roar, i love it.
