What are people doing food wise? Is it everyone for themselves or will there be some collective food stores I can contribute to?

Once everyone's paid up I'll be able to see how much "stand" money is left after paying for the marquee, furniture, stand plot, bbq, postage of tickets etc.
There should be enough money left to buy a stack of bbq food from the local supermarket and, as said, last year a few of us made the shopping trip then everyone just bbqed and helped themselves.
If anyone's veggie or has special dietary needs then I'm afraid you may need to provide your own food. Or if you prefer to eat alone then that's up to you. There's also food stalls if you get fed up of bbq stuff.

I'll be able to let you all know how much food money there is by the beginning of August when I close the payment date.

I think everyone just takes turns at cooking.

I think we should just arrange a food kitty this year and then a few of us go out shopping like last time, that seemed to work quite well IIRC.

I think a few people cooked last year too didn't they.

I certainly did quite a long stint and you're all still alive so can't have done too badly

I'm the BBQ king round here I do a mean marinated aubergine (don't laugh! it's blimin delicious) but don't think that kind of refinement would be at home amongst all you savage barbarian carnivores

I have to send the money off to JAE mid August to get the tickets so I can then send the actual tickets out to you. I suppose you could stand at the entrance to JAE and try to flog it to someone though, or if someone on here wanted one last minute you could sell it to them.

You could get your ticket through CTRO for £20 then get the other on the gate for £25. I take it the g/f isn't so keen?
