As said before the CTR has a zero towing limit, it says it in the manual and to me that would be enough to not do it.
Even if you managed to windle the warrenty while you have a tow bar on what happens when your flying down motorway and it gives way, causes a pile up and maybe kills someone .... I doubt "the dealer said it would be ok" would stand up in court. Is your warrenty more important than your safety? :-S
You have asked the opinions of dealers only ... Who are there to sell the car ... On commission ... I can't say I'd trust anything they say, can't say they would care once they have the cash.
Not been an arse pal but you've asked everyones opinion and are still contemplating doing it.
