BTW Cat, we've been informed by Fuggles that for 25-30 odd cars, camping and social area, you really need to book 3-4 20x20 blocks. Just something worth considering. Better to have too much space than not enough.
Omi wrote:Time for some newby questionsIt's more of a social event than anything Omi. There's no car track etc just a few events clubs can join in with like karting, tug o' war, some clean car thing that's beyond me etc. Most folk arrive Friday and go home Sunday feeling slightly worse for wear, but in a good way!![]()
Right obviously its a 3 day event, is it best to come down on the friday and make a proper weekend of it?
What generally happens there, ive had a crawl through the site but cant see anything major just IKO events and karting time trials. How is the good old food debate handled?
Aint got a clue about most of the stuff so any info would be a great help
You could liken it to a music festival except there's just cars and people meeting up and drinking, with a bit of music thrown in. JAE ... get drunk in a field and have some banter!
It is good fun though! There is a cost for stand space but this generally will cover the cost of the club stand area plus enough to fire up a bbq so everyone can get some food as well. In fact last year we ended up chucking out food so if you're a bbq fan then this is for you!
