HELP PLEASE-Oil Level on EP3 and checking Oil!!!!#2449842

I check my oil weekly and with this EP3 im struggling!

Theres no form of markers to really look or any marker signs to show lowest and highest etc!

Theres two slight marks in the dip stick but where the hell should it normally sit on the stick when cold!

Help please guys :thumbup:

Don't you have 2 holes on the dipstick?

as above there should be two holes, top and bottom, mines a 2002 :thumbup:

And if you do have 2 holes (ooerr!) then the oil level should be inbetween them.
Although I prefer my oil to be just below the top hole.

i usually top it till I can see the oil in the top hole.

a useful fact is that it's pretty much 1 litre of oil between the top and bottom marks on the dip stick, makes topping up a lot easier!
