Dude, just put the d/l on and switch Xbox off, make sure you have the power management thing on though so it stays connected to download. Over night I left it and came to it the next evening.

this game is excellent, having never played the first one, i had a go on this earlier, it is immense. controlling any vehicle is awesome, I was being chauffered around in a tank whilst picking off the baddies.

I recommend anyone to download this.

The only thing I find a bit weird is the walking or running, left analogue makes him go forward, right analogue makes him go left or right seems a bit weird but I'll get use to it.

Think i will go preorder this

You can swap the sticks independently from the buttons. Loads of choice in the options.

Downloaded this last night - didn't have a bloody clue what was going on but enjoyed it.

Are there kill streaks available? Think my best was 3 kill-streak, don't know if that entitles me to something? Was trying to figure out the controls

No killstreaks (this isn't some girly arcade shooter... ) but your points unlock better guns for each class in the demo. Though you can only level up to the second rank. Finding out how to get huge amounts of points is fun though. Think my best streak is around 15 so far.

same here! I just ran in the same direction as everyone else! got a few kills though, and managed to hitch a lift in a helicopter...

Got a beta key, downloaded, installed, got into a game, couldn't hit anyone with sniper rifle, died, respawned, game crashed.

Will try it again later......

Oh, so how come some people are flying about or ragging about in tanks etc?! It's all so confusing although the sheer size of the battlefield is epic so with some proper tidying up and a proper release this could be quite fun!

Downloaded the demo. Not liking so far. Massive maps, lots of running about doing nothing, seems to take almost a full clip to down an enemy and generally confused about the objective of the game. :scratch: Colour scheme also looks very blue/grey so finding hard to spot people sometimes. I should probably like this so will give it another try.

Well, had 2 games on PC and so far its just piss poor

Awful graphics, jerky controls, laggy as hell, random deaths from 2 miles away, random deaths from tanks, random deaths from people just knifing you, random other deaths, spawn killing(died 4 times in a row as i spawned).

going play some more and try some other servers, lag was fairly bad.

Potentially could be good, still Beta.

I have had no problems with the PC version Smartie, mind you there has been reported issues when using Ati cards and XP. What servers do you play on?

I love sniping in this game
I was hiding in a bush near the second base defending with a squad of four guys coming down the road straight at me, 4 headshots later and the squad is lying dead in a neat line.
Once you unlock the scope for the tank gunner you can easily kill snipers on the other side of the map with the .50 cal as long as your team mates dont jump in the drivers seat and drive straight into an anti tank missile.

Whatever server isnt full, have not tried many yet. I am using an Ati card but with Windows 7. Supposed to support Direct X 11........

How is your control/aiming? for me its really pants, either sluggish/jerky or too fast....
