althou please stop with the pics your making me very jelious as ive gota wait for the 2010 bikes to come out som i can get the 09 bikes cheaper
Sounds like a stupid question, but when do next years bikes usually arrive, I am about to purchase a MTB albeit something a bit more entry level than those two, wonder if I should wait a bit.

It depends what make your after as all the manufactures bring there new model out at different times.

Most manufactures bring the new ones out September time and the rest come out towards the end of the year.

As said above check the net for sales, plus have alook in MBUK or BIKE magazine for info.

What bike you lookin at?
Done all my reading and research, looking at one of these.

You want you bike to come back that dirty though hey fella, otherwise you feel you haven't done it justice?

Quite impressive air you got there.. and is that a wee a spin of the old handle bars? Sure there's a more street name for it.

i fully agree, i love it when it's all filthy, means i've worked hard!

i always spend much longer cleaning my bike than my mates, so when we go riding i always get ripped about how clean it is!

'street name' i'm trying to master a trick called 'toboggan' it's supposed to look more like this:

Still looking awesome as ever.

My mate ended up getting the exact same as you about 8 months ago lol.

Still haven't got the session 88. Don't really like the 2010 version.

All spare money is goin into car getting it ready for Time Attack.

Where do you go riding?

tavistock mainly, place called gawton which is a purpose built downhill course with a red diamond and black double diamond runs and another place called chip shop which has a lot more features like drops and jumps.

this is gawton, where i was yesterday:

this is a much better quality video, with a much better rider in the same place:

whistler would be cool, talking to my chum about it yesterday, would like to take my bike but would probably just hire one! - won't be going this year though, got loads of gear to buy as mine's getting a bit old and knackered + i want to send a few bob on the car and have a holiday!

the spec on the Sunday is amazing, if you bought it all separately it comes to nearly 4 grand!

i paid £2300 for mine, they were 3 grand when they first came out so i got it for a decent price, i think the last few went for just under 2 grand, but i didn't want to risk not getting one!

how do you get your bike about? you got a van or something as well as the ctr?

your mate got a right bargain!

it is a bit slippery at the mo, but that just made it more fun, nothing quite like flying down a hill through the woods right on the edge of your skill/grip limit!

where do you live Tom, anywhere near me? you'll have to come down to tavistock in the summer for a blast!

Awesome bike dude. I used to ride a lot of DH a few years ago. Had a Specilized FSR which was an awesome bike. Used to go upto Glentress alot, If you haven't been then you need to get yourself up there it's Awesome.

The crash barriers tied to the trees always used to put me off though.
