I put my order in on the 5th September was told 10th January but had a call the other day to say its now the 18th of December.

I ordered a GT Version in a sporty Blue as i liked my DC5 that was in Blue.

Going from a R33 GTR and a Evo3 RS both 400bhp

Soon to be back in the Type R club!

Iv gone from a 400bhp evo 6 to the type R. You do notice the turbo lag and noticably less urgency in the power delivery. But its not as massive as you would think. Its nicer to drive in everydsy use and the cabin is far far better obviously. Im not regreting it at all the type r is a brilliant quick cara

..... does need a louder exhaust though!

Sounds like you are a happy man. Congrats on the new motor. How are you finding the turbo flutter ie does it get annoying? Any pics ??

I ordered mine 14th August and got told 7th January delivery but got told today it's moved to the 11th December

Buzzing! Hope it's comes in even more!!

I've also ordered a new fk2 championship white gt spec.

Got told it would be here end of August when I first ordered it now it's been pushed back to the 3rd October! :Sleepy:

Just went to my Local Honda after being told my original date was 10th of January then a call a week ago to say it's moved forward to 18th of December and have now just been told April!

I told the manager to tell Honda if this is true and no Extras are offered to compensate I'd be taking my Money to Ford.

What a Joke if you ask me!

previous car a45 Amg and focus rs with over 700 hp

I thought non GT were a lot sooner delivery than that bud! You may get it sooner

What made you go from an A45 and a mad powered RS to a Type R bud?

I called back today to see if my order has gone out from the 11th December and its stilled stayed the same.

Don't know why your order shifted to April and mine hasn't with us ordering more or less at the same time and same spec.

You'll be waiting even longer at Ford. You won't get any money off as the margins are already tight. It's just all dependant on build quotas.

Hi dude the a45 was my last car was 430 hp liked it but wanted a change drove civic and really enjoyed the car just needs some more power but the standard package is good tuning will be good as well .
