Plot sizes are in areas of 20m x 20m. I'm thinking 2 or 3 plots should be enough for about 25 cars, tents etc but I'm checking this with John one of the organisers. Depending on final numbers once I take payment then we'll see if we need more plots.
dandemoraliser wrote: Cat, do you wanna stick that list in the first post as well?
Done. :-D

Is that only an interest declared list? I'm not a defo yet! I don't want to put anyone out.

Does everybody take there bf's/gf's or just go it alone?
Just an interest only list, I expect a third of those who put their name down won't go ... as is the way. Once I set up a payment thread and you give me money then there's no refunds though!

A lot just went on their own last year but you're welcome to take a g/f or b/f.

Pffft aint getting rid of me that easy, i may be a noob but i wanna meet the crazy CTRO lot

And?

I take it you've still got the Navara? Find a marquee and you can help transport it to JAE. :-D

I'm sticking you down on the "interested" list anyway because I know you want to go really.

For you people that are very OCD on yer toilets and washing facilities, looks like there will be an option to have private club only loo's/showers
John @ JAE wrote:We have just concluded the deal with a Motorhome company. Anyone wanting private loos and toilets this would be your best option. They are collectable from Swindon which is about 90 miles away. I guess for an extra fee tey might deliver! Details next weekend
An option for us maybe?

Unfortunately not an option.

All these things cost money and as CTRO is free and doesn't have a "members fee" we are poor, in the car club sense of the word.
We were lucky last year because we got a marquee provided free and members attending kindly brought music equipment, generators, lights etc. If you have to rent these then it gets pricey, hiring a marquee this year will cost about £200 and to be honest I'm not sure where that money's going to come from!

The ticket price to get in the gate is £20 when bought through a car club then we charge a cost per car to get on the stand but we try to keep this extra cost as low as possible. The extra cost is to cover the price of our JAE plot, buying a BBQ and some food, petrol for generators etc.
Last year the cost per car to get on the stand was £10 but as we may have to factor in marquee hire this year it's more likely to be £15. We only just broke even last year and I see the same happening this year so unfortunately no money left for luxury items.

The company that provided the toilets/showers last year was pretty good at keeping them clean in fairness, well the ladies toilets were clean anyway.

Couldn't fault the showers last year given the circumstances. The only problem was a bit of a wait.

Yeah i thought as much, thought i would put it out there anyway. as long as iv'e got somewhere to sleep and alchohol im a happy bunny
Someone thats coming must have a marquee lying round at home they can bring, I've got a gazebo myself but its not really transportable grr. the structure part of it is rather heavy to say the least so not a chance im bringing that along lol.

Don't think so.

Apparently they don't want to be seen to be favouring any particular car clubs, which is understandable I suppose.
