hahah not yet paid.

I am just thinking of turning up with a few of my mates with jap cars and browse the various activities on the day?? ie arrive around 10ish, park up in general car park then make way to car show

Is this normal? or am i missing something here.

It's normalish, if you just want to walk round as pedestrians on the day. Costs £10 I believe to walk in as a pedestrian and you can just walk in whenever.

Most of us make it a social weekend, park our cars up on the stand, have a bbq Fri & Sat evening, then drinks, some music and general nonsense.

It's up to you what you want to do, if you make your way to the CTRO stand we'll have a natter etc (well we will if there's someone there). Tbh I'd prob not bother going to JAE just for the day but that's just me, I like the drinking and socialising ... I am Scottish!

If you and your mates change your minds and decide to make a weekend of it you can all buy weekend tickets at a discounted rate of £20 from CTRO. Ticket ordering will be available till the end of July, unless all the stand space sells out before that.

Thats plenty of time! Just trying to persuade my GF 3 days is a reasonable amount of time to spend at a car show!! will there be space for tents or do you all go to hotels?

There's space beside the cars on the stand for camping.
Everyone usually just camps for the weekend but there will be hotels nearby if you need a bit more luxury.

Must admit I think I'll be investing in a blow up mattress this year! I was camping for 3 nights and it wasn't that comfy on the sleeping mat I had.
