Telling me this after I've had my service done, awesome! [smilie=karls_thumb.gif]
Not true... Was removed from the service long ago.. Honda decided they are good to over 120k
Even Tom at Tgm said Honda should have not removed it from the schedule and recommends they are changed. I'll trust him over Honda tbf.

Swindon Honda want £100plus VAT for valve clearance check. Will vary wildly depending on garage overheads. Shiny showrooms are all paid for by the customer. :-)

Cars on 65k, getting all fluids including anti freeze, oil and fuel filter and a new tensioner belt, £200 seems fair.

Plugs are ok for another 10k as are valve clearances.

Any thing else i should ask for?

cam chain tensioner, which should be changed at 75k?? my cars gone in for service today and i didnt mention this to my mechanic. my cars done 69500 and has been serviced at the specified millage by honda every other time. is it wise to have him check the chain tensioner? as previous comments in this thread say they are good for 120k im confused!!

I didn't change mine at 75k because I was unsure.

A stretches chain 1000 miles later led me to believe I had made the wrong choice.

Make your choice my friend.
