Just weighing up my best option here.

Have a 05 plate EP3 NHB with 85K on the clock. Service history up to about 60k.

Rod has gone through the block so my options would be 1. Buy a 2nd hand engine and fit (around £1500) , 2. sell the car as it is, 3. Break the car

How much do you think it's worth & what do you guys think the best option would be? Cheers

Would you take a punt on working engine & gearbox that has done 203,000 miles that hasn't been red-lined or abused?

Given the mileage, I won't charge anywhere near £1.5K but you'll need to change the timing chain, tensioner and guides.
