I fancied a change, torn between a few motors, i knew that EP3s were cheap, i didn't want to spend thousands on a car as a newly home owner my funds will go on the house. I typed into Youtube: EP3 Type-R, to see a bit more on them and your Nurburgring Nordschleife videos flooded up, it was this point your car decided it for me, and pursued for a Type-R. What i love about your car is that it's been modified correctly, and functionally for fast road and track purposes. Really inspires me to get on with mine now. Hopefully be able to look around this at a show in the coming months.

All the best.

Luke.
Thanks for the kind comments Luke. Hopefully I'll get on the CTRO club stand at Japfest when I pull my finger out. You're more than welcome to have a look around.

Few things ordered up.
Enkei RPF1's 17x8 ET35
Refurb Cam cover
Just about to place an order with Royal Wheels on re trimming my steering wheel.
Demon tweeks are selling 4 Toyo R888r's for £580. Very tempted to go for them.
Just need to get some spigot rings and new wheel nuts (need to be steel). It'll be a few weeks before it all turns up.

Won't have anymore than -2° on the rear. I'll 'roll' the arches if I have to (heat gun and a hammer)
Also depends on tyre size. It'll be either 215/45 or 225/45

Hey mate i am actually going for the same tyres in 215/45/17 88V for this season, they are £131 per corner from tyreleader.co.uk, which works out about £524 , so a bit cheaper than the £580 you got quoted :)

Definitely R888r's? Sounds more like R888 price. I'll have a look.

No sry it's the older tried and tested design. I'll wait till the new one has been tested a bit, the tread pattery looks much more wet orientated than the previous one.

From what I've read. The compound is exactly the same on the new ones, the tread pattern is suppose to improve grip.

Car isn't used as a daily anymore. Purely a weekend/track toy. Will probably keep the original wheels though. They've wrapped in decent tyres with plenty of tread.

What colour will you go with the VC?
Funny you should ask. Just had these photos sent to me. Thought as I've got Spoon camshafts and calipers, I'd keep the theme going..
