Did my first track day at Oulton Park yesterday. Great circuit, had a few showers of rain which made it even more interesting ;-)
It was a novice day with bikes too, so format was 20 mins cars then two lots of 20 mins for the bikes ( there were a LOT of bikes) each hour for 6 sessions in total. Was only a handful of cars there so got two hours of good quality track time in total. The novice days are also quite a bit cheaper.
Instructor was £25 for a session and well worth it if you've not driven Oulton before as half the corners are blind and you need to know what landmarks to aim for to get the approach right.
The only disappointment was they were very hot on stopping people using phones for recording video since they are very strict on you not timing your laps. I'd installed Track Addict on my phone and got a WiFi OBDII adaptor to record my antics, but wasn't allowed to use it :-(

I'll have to check with time off work. It'll be a very long day for me. It's over 3 hours away from me. Although it's a decent track, it may be worth the effort
Cool, see what works saying.yeah that is a trek I'm not far off either at 2.5 hrs but does look a decent circuit. I may even go up the night before as there is a premier inn only 5 miles from circuit and it's only £40 a room at the min.that way I can get up there and get my wheels swapped over all ready and have a lay in. :)
