so let's get this straight - you are now criticising people from copy and pasting from the Internet

Not only that they are doing this from sources that you quote yourself almost hourly

Irony personified

Just as an FYI this is the site I use which intend to find gives a proper answer to the question as to whether the service is working or not

https://support.us.playstation.com/app/ ... l/a_id/237

During my whinging session this clearly stated that the service was OFFLINE which I am sure you would agree would mean that the service is OFFLINE

Next you will be telling us all sorts of other things that are BS about the PS4 as well

Oh wait

once again if you're going to come wading in to save Stu at least do it.

the "criticism" for Stu had nothing to do with his copy and paste, it was due to him not believing my experience.

I don't have a problem with him thinking the network was offline due to what he had seen or him even copy and pasting it, however when I prove I was online along with others ( one also from this forum ) I think you will agree his aggressive comments as usual were as usual unfounded and had nothing behind them.

Once again if you actually read how it started as usual it's just Stu as usual trying to bring someone down for typing something on CTRO he likes to do it often, not sure why? I don't see others doing it quite so much.

Anyway what was your point again?

No point in being logged on if no one else can get connected

Basically the service was fooked but you seem to be saying that as you were able to connect it was not

That's not what I was saying at all, again if you re-read, think it was kinda obvious there was still issues even when I and others were on due to people not being able to get on, the point is it was never OFFLINE totally as others were always online even when the majority couldn't get on.

But I agree yes, if you want MP then it's pointless if you're the only one online.

Money wasn't the main factor initially.

I still think they're all butt hurt because they can't get jobs at Sony and Microsoft. I don't see any other reason. They almost said it themselves in their a load of wotsit excuse on twitter

You can be connected to your local LAN but if your WAN connection is dead you're going nowhere. This is exactly what you experienced in essence. An always on connection that just didn't timeout. Fact was though the main network was indeed down, and you couldn't do anything on it. Well useful you being logged on when you couldn't do anything.

F*cking loltastic.

I'll pitch that to the CIO next week when I am in the U.S.

So long as users can log in the system is up - the fact they cannot do anything is irrelevant

Sorted - should get me a tidy bonus next December
