Phones been off charge just over 10 hours, not used it much just some whatsapp and odd bit of FB and mess with some different themes but battery is on 96% blows the previous phones I've had out of the water.

Good to know there are phones finally with some decent battery life. It's the reason I didn't opt for the N5. Smashing phone, except it dies far too quickly.

I can get about 12 hours it if my nexus 5 such suits me

3 hours so far, the nexus 4 use to die after about a day and half with similar useage, looking on XDA people are getting 8-10 hours screen time.





The Gimmick apps are pretty neat as well, although they only shoot in 8mp

You have stamina mode on. Still its impressive numbers.

Getting about 2 days / 4-5 hours screen time on S5 with my average usage, big improvement over my One X previously.

Not played with any settings really, pretty much everything is turned on. May try the various power saving modes at some point but don't see any need as yet.

I was just hoping for at least a days useage, but it's way beyond that I leave all the battery features on ( think there are 3 ) as it doesn't effect anything on the phone once you customise them.

Just need to get time to give the camera a proper try out.

Tried out the power saving mode, seems ok, however I wasn't doing anything particularly intensive, just general usage.

Also an ultra power saving mode but that restricts it to only certain apps(unless you root it).

But what's your screen on time? Looks to me as if your phone has spent most of the time in your pocket!

Above is just the normal power saving mode, there is an Ultra one which is quite restrictive but mainly designed for emergencies I guess.

Ultra mode is supposed to give about 12 days standby.

That is one impressive phone Smartie. That Nexus 5 battery report is not bad, but fk having to reduce my phones functionality all the way.

Plus with the one Plus one just around the corner, I'll wait. But damn I hope it comes soon because my S3 is dying.
