seeing as most owners now are too cheap to buy the correct rolling radius tyres the chances of coming close these days are almost nil

I had 150 on the clock on my CTR, looking back on it now it seems a really stupid thing to do. I'd say your mate is looking at a prison sentence and a lengthy driving ban. Round here in Warwickshire the courts are really harsh on traffic offences and if was in this area I'd say 3 months inside maybe doing 1 for good behaviour. I'd be investing in a bus pass for the next 3-5 years too
