i have the garden workshop and equipment all sorted now mate so i will be able to darken the handles for you but i am offshore on a oilrig at the moment so i should be home between 7 - 10 days and will get you sorted with a darker set when i get home buddy

The car is a real credit to you, I think you should hold on to it, not to many facelifts about in white! I know Torque GT are looking 10k for one at the minute!!

Little update...

What I have decided to do albeit not to everyone's liking, I am going to strip down all of the modifications from the car and leave it as a clean jdm example and concentrate on making it nice again.
I have contemplated selling it but there isn't anything I like in my price range, also road tax I cannot justify as this is registered as PLG its cheap as chips...
I would rather have the money in the bank than sitting on a car that's just used for work..
I can't fault the car atall and for what it costs I don't think I can honestly sell it for a sh-t car for work, pleasure.
I will be keeping the buddyclub suspension as it sits better in my eyes.

Most parts have sold or are sold.
I have a toda manifold available and a 70mm bored rbc which has been de-webbed/shaved/fully polished..! soon just keep an eye out on the forsale thread.

Yea to be honest I don't use the power it has very often and when I do I cringe when the fuel gauge plummets!
Now I have a house to maintain the money has better uses than a loud exhaust and a bigger hole in a throttle body

I believe the guy who wants my k-pro for his dc5 wants the skunk2 tb for his build..
I would like to see the parts put to good use as I'm not really benefitting from them!

Yeah makes sense if you haven't got a heavy foot
I probably would have kept the K Pro though because you will actually achieve better MPG if it's mapped without any bolt ons, even with an RBC, Gruppe M etc it wil pull better fuel economy on a motorway run.

Did you at least keep the GM as its the only mod apart from the Suspension i would have kept on a standard EP3. As the noise on cross-over is worth it [smilie=karls_thumb.gif]

I could keep saying ohh ile keep this because of that and that because of this but at the end of the day its a bloody civic with over 4k worth of bits just bolted on that isn't nessacary.

If I can make 10k out of the car and parts which is doable then I might consider another type r that's maybe charged if I can pick one up at a good price...

You'll just be back to square one then, as a JRSC car maybe cheap to buy, but when you look at the selling price of the modifications you'll come to the same conclusion, why are these on my car when I can get good £££ for them. and if the power you have now makes you cringe at the fuel gauge then a JRSC car will make you cry

I'm serious as well, I get about 24-26 mpg in my car, a granny driving tank can get 28-30 mpg but WHY drive like a granny when the car has been built for fun :scratch:

Obviously as good blast in the car and you really see how it burns the fuel, moving to the country and driving on more back roads hasn't done my mpg any favours

+1 have to agree, a hothatch is build for fun not MPG and to be honest the CTR to me is quite good on fuel.
