At least the ep3 made it through all its journo tests

Not a great endorsement for a car especially when it breaks down on the test.
They all agreed the ep3 was best on track
Just stumbled across this thread and have to laugh,especially at the video link.For a start off a R26 megane is 100 times better than the run of the mill 225.
Ive had an R26 before i got my Ep3 type r(had to sell megane to release cash else would still have now)and it would absolutly run rings round an ep3 all day long anywhere be it track or b-road.In a different league all together and the next step up in terms of handling.
Build quality was very good and not like old Renaults from years ago and in terms of ride quality although my megane was a 57 plate it was a hell of a lot bettter than my 54 type r.
R26 is one of if not the best hot hatches ever made,you only need to read a proper drivers magazine like Evo to see for yourself.
An FN2 is more of a comparison than an EP3 imo,and a championship white would have no chance either.
Still love my type r though just still hankering after an R26

Rallying=Proper driving
Racing/trackdays=For wimps,same bends lap after lap how boring!
