Even at Arsenal he was still top goalscorer this season. I think his playstyle along with his natural left foot would compliment Rooney no end as well. Considering them two make up 1 and 2 in the top scorers this season the prospect of them together is a little tasty.

Better then scholes and giggs at 18 apparently. I haven't seen him play however.

I like when Fergie does these deals, if he doesnt work out at least he hasnt spent a fortune, unlike other clubs. But if he does, then absolute bargain.

Time will tell, be good to see how he does in the reserves.

At 40 odd million he's too much for some one who could just as easily become the next quersma instead of the next pires* (*insert classy wide midfeilders name here) soley due to his attitude rather than ability

His release clause is £33m, so he definitely won't be £40m+.

With regards to his ability, i guess if you factor in City tax, and £26m for Milner, then he's definitely worth £33m.

So, i did a little research about Hazard. Not because i think United will sign him, i don't, but just out of interest really. Here's what i found:

To put Hazard's stats into perspective; in Europe's top 5 leagues there are 8 players in double figures, for both goals and assists, they are: Messi, Ronaldo, Hazard, Ribery, Giovinco, Nene, Miccoli and Adebayor. Reasonable company, i'm sure you'll agree.

In terms of assists alone, only Ozil (17) has more than Hazard. He and Messi have 16 a piece.

Hazard is 18th place in the scoring charts for the top 5 leagues in Europe, and joint 2nd in the assist charts, this despite not being a striker.

Remember Hazard is 21. Again, for perspective purposes, every player who has more goals than him, in any of the top 5 leagues in Europe, is older than him. And only 1 player has more assists, as i mentioned previously.
