Haha I hate rolling arches so I went with the cut them back approach. No ruined paint and a tidy finish. I can't believe they tyres only have 5mm tread new haha.

Loving the updates mate, but prepare to fade the ds2500's alot quicker than the yellows, i had brake fade on them within ten minutes and ive never had it with the yellows, and im still on standard discs and calipers.

I can only test them out with the brembos and see how I get on.

The only problem with yellow stuff pads are they lasted 1 track day and 1000 miles which isn't good for £80 now if I can get 2 track days out of the ds2500 with abit of fading then I'm happy.

Iv only ever used yellow stuff so I fancied a change anyway if the ds2500 don't live up to the hype I'll swap back to yellow stuff once Iv killed them

As already said the car looks soooo good in those pictures, it's a credit to you :bigthumb:

For me I find it hard to warm to pictures of EP3's on the net as they just aren't that photogenic imo, having said that yours look's just right.

ctr-lib wrote:i decided after my last track day the brakes needed more than just discs and pads so i opted for some dc5 4 pot brembos coupled with some yellow stuff pads and some fluid.

im still waiting for the fluid and s2000 brake discs to turn up hopefully they will be here by weekend so i can fit them

oh and im sick of driving on blocks of wood to get my jack under the car so i splashed out on a clarke low jack :-D

a couple of pictures of the brembos

How much would you say it cost you to get this setup sorted, i was going down the power route but after a trip to the nurburgring and cooking my brakes i think i'll be going with brakes first, hope you can help

Cheers
