Hey everyone, just signed up as I've picked up my CTR this week. Previously had a Toyota Celica (2001 Gen 7) but part-ex'd it because I wanted something more practical (and faster, since the Celica was completely gutless!)

Picked up a black 2004 EP3 (59k miles) on Wednesday and done 440 miles in it since then (to Norwich and back). Brilliant car so far and a lot more comfortable on the longer journeys than the Celica was.

Only needs a couple things doing to it- new interior bulb, a new backlight bulb for the dial cluster and a new front Honda badge (going down the A1 today I must've caught a stone on the road that's took a chunk out of the badge

Anyone know if the front badge is easy enough to replace?

Thanks for the welcome!

I actually went to JAE last year with Celica Club, was a pretty cool experience (aside from it being freezing all weekend  ). Drove down there in a small group of a few Celicas and a EP3 CTR. Ended up hanging around the Honda stands more than the one I'd parked on! I actually wanted a CTR instead of the Celica but at the time the insurance was completely ridiculous, so I'm glad I can finally afford to run one.

Whether I can go this year depends on what time in the month my NVQ finals are, I know they're some point during that month but no definite date yet :-|

I'll have to have a look at the badge, just glad the stone didn't hit the paintwork :-D

Nothing planned yet as I've been really busy with work :???:

For the time being I'm just sorting out the last few things with the car. Replaced the fuse for the interior lighting and getting hold of a new front Honda badge. After that I just need to fix one of the backlights behind the dial cluster and replace the radio (stock one won't play CD-Rs apparently).

Definitely loving the car so far, only downside is the main car park at work is up a huge (steep) ramp. Haven't even tried it yet because I'm too scared of scraping the bodywork
