was having a baffled sump and oil cooler fitted. there was issues with the sump (previious owner cracked it), which they didnt spot, hence why i had to pick the car up today.

you just had a frsu done, from what i heard, right?

I got it lowered and a frsu along with the Rota's put on and 2x new Toyo T1R's on the fronts

Exactly, what im doing this summer however refurbing oem wheels anthracite, fitting JDM anti-roll bar and Energy Suspension Engine Mounts!

P.S. U didnt need 2 park that close to the wall mate! :laughabove:

I did initially intend to refurb my oem wheels gunmetal but picked up these rota's for a bargain price!! Ill refurb my oem rims and keep them for winter wheels :salut:

I'm getting some JDM deflectors hopefully in the next few days so may fit them this weekend, weather depending..

Eventually I'll get a JDM rear ARB to compliment the setup.. keeping an eye on that potential group buy..

Yh, i've read the ES engine mounts are a right bugger! But once you have them in no more wheel hop, plenty of traction through each gear! Only drawback ive read is some slight vibrations that come into the cabin! Im sure its not that bad! I would stay away from the Avid mounts and go with the Energy Suspension Engine Mounts!

Tbh my cabin only vibrates on idle like when you come to a stop at say traffic lights.. When driving you wouldnt know the difference

Since fitting my suspension setup and new wheels I recently picked up a DC Sports catback.. eventually got it fitted and it sounds epic!!
Can't get enough of the noise.. and the Teg M still comes through nicely on crossover..
Once nice and hot the system burbles and even makes a pop hear and there

Also got some JDM deflectors to replace the poor man's Heko ones

Haven't been on the forum much due to work commitments but have got the ep3 pretty much to where I want it..
I don't think I will be spending more money on her apart from a pricey service due and general maintainence.. reason being, I'm toying with the idea of stripping her back to standard, selling up and getting something in the turbo scene..

Yeah really pleased with how the calipers turned put after 3 coats especially behind them wheels!

Yeah I wanted an astra 888 before the ep3 but the prices of them are silly!

Not really interesting in spending more money on it tbh..
