2. Group Leader’s Obligations
2.1 The Group Leader shall make the Group Booking on behalf of the Group giving such information to Eurotunnel as
Eurotunnel shall require including, but not limited to, the names of the Drivers of the Qualifying Vehicles.
2.2 The Group Leader shall be responsible for communicating the Booking Reference to each Driver together with all
other information relating to the Group Booking as Eurotunnel may communicate to the Group Leader from time to
time.
2.3 The Group Leader shall communicate Eurotunnel’s Conditions of Carriage and Ticket Terms to all Drivers together
with a copy of these Group Booking Terms and Conditions.
2.4 The Group Leader shall inform all Drivers of Eurotunnel’s check-in times in accordance with clause 5.1 below.
Failure by Drivers to comply with these times may result in the Booking Reference becoming invalid and the Group
Leader and / or such Drivers as who still wish to travel shall be required to purchase a non-refundable ticket at the
full public fare applicable to the day of travel before travel will be permitted.
2.5 The Group Leader shall be responsible for the conduct of the Group during its presence at Eurotunnel’s terminals
and during travel on board the Shuttle.
3. The Group Booking Rate and Payment
3.1 The Group Booking Rate will be offered to the Group Leader by Eurotunnel in writing such rate to depend upon the
number of Qualifying Vehicles forming the Group.
3.2 Unless Credit Terms apply, the Group Leader shall pay the Group Booking Rate prior to Eurotunnel issuing the
Booking References:
3.2.1 A non-refundable deposit of the Group Booking Rate (10% for groups of 15 – 25 vehicles or 50% for groups
of more than 26 vehicles) shall become payable immediately; and
3.2.2 Eurotunnel shall then issue an invoice in respect of the balance of the Group Booking Rate in the name of
the Group Leader.
3.3 Unless otherwise agreed by Eurotunnel in writing, the Group Leader shall pay the amount of the invoice issued
under clause 3.2.2 above at least 12 weeks prior to the date of outbound travel.
3.4 No Booking References shall be issued unless and until full payment in cleared funds is received by Eurotunnel.
3.5 The Group shall not be permitted to travel unless payment is received in full in cleared funds prior to departure.

4. Amending Group Bookings
4.1 Group Bookings may be amended prior to travel subject to availability. In some cases a supplement may be
payable.
4.2 No refund shall be given in respect of Group Bookings.
5. Check-in Time
5.1 Unless otherwise communicated to the Group Leader by Eurotunnel in writing, Drivers must check-in at
Eurotunnel’s terminals at least thirty minutes (but not more than two hours) before the booked departure time.
5.2 The Booking Reference will become invalid if Drivers fail to comply with the Check-in time in accordance with
clause 5.1 above.
5.3 In the event that the Booking Reference becomes invalid pursuant to clause 5.2 above, it may be possible to
transfer the booking to the next available departure subject the following:
5.3.1 If Drivers check-in no more than 2 hours after the booked departure time, the booking will be transferred
without additional payment;
5.3.2 If Drivers check-in more than 2 hours but no more than 24 hours after the booked departure time, the
booking will be exchanged for another crossing in accordance with Eurotunnel’s Ticket Terms;
5.3.3 If Drivers check-in more than 24 hours after the booked departure time, the booking will not be exchanged.
6. Shuttle Service
6.1 Eurotunnel’s Conditions of Carriage (available from eurotunnel.com and upon request) shall apply to all travel on
the Shuttle and all Passengers should note that certain exclusions of liability apply.
6.2 From time to time, Eurotunnel may impose restrictions on the use of the Shuttle, in particular, but not limited to,
restrictions during peak travel times. The Group Leader shall notify all Passengers that such restrictions may be
imposed by Eurotunnel. These restrictions may include, but are not limited to, the towage of caravans and trailers
and the carriage of campervans.
6.3 Qualifying Vehicles fitted with Liquefied Petroleum Gas (“LPG”) containers to power domestic services such as
cooking, refrigeration, heating and water heaters are accepted for travel on the Shuttle on condition that these
devices are switched off, weigh no more than 47kg and are not more than 80% full. Where any Qualifying Vehicle
is so fitted, the Driver must declare it at Check-In.
6.4 Qualifying Vehicles powered by LPG or which are dual-powered vehicles (vehicles fitted with an LPG tank as an
alternative fuel) cannot be accepted for transport on the Shuttle.
7. Miscellaneous
7.1 In the event of any conflict between these Group Booking Terms and Conditions and the Ticket Terms, these Group
Booking Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
7.2 The carriage of firearms and ammunition must be declared at Check-In and as otherwise directed by signs at the
Eurotunnel terminals.
7.3 Passengers should read Rules for the Carriage of Firearms and Ammunition on Eurotunnel Passenger Shuttles.
7.4 Passengers should read the Rules for the Carriage of Reserve Fuel Containers.
7.5 Passengers should read the Conditions of Carriage which contain certain exclusions of liability and should be read
before travelling.
7.6 Passengers should read the Ticket Terms before traveling.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
8.1 These Group Booking Terms and Conditions and any contract arising out of a booking shall be governed in all
respects by English law if a claimant brings his or her action in England and by French law if a claimant brings his
or her action in France.
8.2 The parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdictions of the English and French courts for the purposes
hereof.
8.3 These Group Booking Terms and Conditions are issued in England and France. Where a claim is brought in
England the English language version shall be treated as the authentic version and where a claim is brought in
France the French language version shall be treated as the authentic version.
