Firstly, thanks to everyone who went and made JAE, and the CTRO stand, a fantastic place to be and a brilliant weekend. It's the folk there that make it what it is, and you did just that!

Many thanks to Omni for sorting out a cheap rate generator, petrol, burgers, buns and glow sticks! To Mike for sorting out the BBQ, coals, and music. To Gravy for the delicious varieties of sausages. To Stu for sorting out our "mystery" car and for my bottle of vodka, which is still full believe it or not! Thankyou J for the champagne, hand warmers and for more glow sticks! And to Superbully for pulling in a few more pennies and bringing me wine, even if I was being too sensible to drink it. Also to Dandemoraliser for bringing ice when Kettering had run dry. Sedge and Gemma you came with your house packed in your car which helped a few people out too.

To everyone else I'm sorry if I've missed something but I have a very sleepy head on right now. I have to say though everyone kept the stand very tidy which made clearing up today easy, and there was a lot of helping each other out with this, that and the other which was great.

Had a fun night Friday watching m1ke's mate try for the award "JAE's drunkest person" and some mixing between CTRO and TRO worked out pretty well! (where were you lot Sat you bunch of Suvvern lightweights??)

Saturday, well it might be a bit geeky but I thought the whole of Ebisu doing the hazard light thing was funny as! But the icing on the cake (weekend) was the "Glow Tree". Truelly inspired Ian. That JAE admin guy just made it even funnier.

Great to meet those I've met before and all the new faces too. Good to eventually meet Rodan and Si as well, after all these years! :-D

Thanks to you too Cat for all your organising, you should be a mod

Had a bit of an epic fail on the way back, I was sat in the queue to get out and I remember thinking hmm, I wonder if I closed all the windows in the caravan properly....but just as I was about to get out and check the queue started moving so I forgot all about it....roll on 15 minutes, going down the A14 and all of a sudden the right hand side caravan window blows open, curtains flailing about all over the place, cars passing waving at me like I was on fire....anyway nowhere to stop so I had to carry on to the next junction, came off the A14 found the first quiet road to ditch in, pulled over and sorted out the window, then i'm thinking errrr, this is like, a single track farm entrance, how the f**k am I going to turn round...Then the cops go by so i'm thinking I need to get the out of here now or they'll think i'm a pikey setting up camp - had to reverse it up the embankment which fortunately wasn't too steep and high tail it out of there before the cops doubled back.

Just back a half hour ago and i'm well and truly fecked!

Thanks to everyone at JAE for making it such a great place to be. I just go for meeting you all and you were great :-D also for your understanding the point of the whip round. Certain people bought lots of stuff and they should duly be repaid and afaik everyone was reimbursed that needed so...
Cat - thx for organising :salut: and those that bought stuff to make JAE what it is :salut:
M1ke - the anti rattle kit is AMAZING! not a squeak!
J + Gravy, pleasure to cook for you and J hope it passed muster parade. MikeG seemed to like it anyway, sorry there wasn't more mate! pan was only so big! Recipe coming in PM :-D
Didn't even know that Rodan was there! Big pity, nobody mentioned him on our stand. Would have liked to have met him finally. Oh well, another time hopefully.
Glow tree was awesome! Has to be an annual creation and worship. Reckon some sort of druids costume should be going on as we create glow tree

You looked a little bit worse for wear! How long did it take you to get home?!
I was dead mate, epically sick in tesco then did about 60 all the way home. Took about 3 hours with a stop?

How was the trip back down to Plymouth?

I only had to come back to London luckily, so it weren't too bad! I don't think it could get any more random than meeting someone for the first time who went to the same primary school!
