As long as you were paying for them, saying that only got paid yesterday - already bought new number plate for the front, camber arms for the rear (if Tom ever reads his PM's :bad-words: ) and a J's racing oil cap (turned up this morning). Going to order my canards this week so I can fit them when I get my FRSU done later this month. Oh and I'm just sorting out my cam cover as we speak :salut:

Did you like my video I chose, it just popped into my head, good ol' Dire Straits

Video made me cry  It just reminds me how far away we actually are

I've done really well on not spending money.......at all  Just bought some adjustable exhaust hangers last week to get the back box away from the bumper.....just need someone to fit them now  Ordered for 2 different ebay people so I have a red one and a yellow one  at least you can't see them when there on I guess.

What colour on the cam cover you going for?

I suck at not spending money, especially when i'm supposed to be saving monies

Cam colour is a secret for now, till I'm fully happy with my colour choice for it. But it will go with the colour scheme I have chosen :salut:

Just a little hint to make this thread more practical.

I have actually put the bolt another way round to avoid rubbing in this step so it means no rubber/ protection will be needed. pic as below

and I found the most tricky bit is the bolt for this step, as the bolt doesn't seems like go in properly, it get in finally, but take ages!! Pic as below

With the position of the scuttle and how much the kit moves even if the bolt had been the other way around on this car it still would be too close, I would advise to put some form of protection on no matter what way around it is, but yes the other way around will give more of a gap.......but you don't want to pop the bonnet some day and fine you've scratched the crap outta your new Carbon induction kit.

this is true very true that if want to keep the kit as new as possible, still best put something on, so what is that rubber band things? anywhere I could but any?

Anyway I love the noise when i turn the engine off as well,.........the loud sucking noise is nice !!!

We got this rubber bit off the OEM induction kit, there are 2 around the side of it, it originally had a metal bit in the rubber that we pulled out and used as the spacer for the heatshield bracket......then we just used the left over rubber bit for the spacer between the bolt and the kit

Took a snap of the kit after i gave the red intakes pipes a clean and added a decal to the box.
All i need now is my scuttle back from Simon B and then i can get the scoop put on :-D

Do you get the scoop in with the kit? Do you not need a connector(to tighten it) on the smaller hose where it connects to the engine?

Yes you a get a scoop mate....but Stevo is getting an OEM modded scuttle in the next day or 2 so he just left the scoop off until then.

The breather hose you mean? No you don't need anything round it, it's so tight on there there is no way it's coming off

Wohoo mine came yesterday, I will be fitting it next week (apparently I HAVE to decorate this weekend) thanks for the guide! Just one question, is the modded scuttle necassery or something you can do yourself as I need to get a spare to send of? Cheers again
