1.No -sweet Jesus get this now!
2.Yes
3.Yes

It's an awesome app, basically Google Maps figures out where you are on your 'layer' and then you ask it where the nearest thing is that you're after (so my mates example to me was to find the nearest BK) at which point it finds it for you, puts you in a grid reference and then gives you directions to the nearest BK. It also pin points it on your phone, so if you're facing north for arguments sake and the BK is NW if you turn to your left BK will centre in front of you so you can basically just keep walking towards the little marker...

Or at least I think that is what it does...

Just get it, okay?!

Is it as I said?! I'm 90% sure I'm right... Looked like a great piece of kit though, especially if you are in a city that you don't know too well.

Google Goggles is a good app... it any one has used the Google Image Labler this is where your, effort and typing has gone. Give it a go off you have not already.
This program uses humans to associate words with pictures so when the app scans a picture it looks up elements in its library.
Layer is a good app, needs a little more work but it is good working idea.
Sky Map is a great application of the Google maps platform... give it a go on a clear night... keep it secret from the other half for extra romantic star gazing points ;)

Have you got the clear one? Does it look okay? I liked the idea of a black one but apparently it's semi-transparent smoky grey or something.

Have you got your InvisibleSHIELD yet? If so, did it go on okay? I just know I'm going to permanently trap a minute hair under there for all eternity.

I've got the Zagg invisishield but haven't had the chance to fit it yet. The flexishield is a kind of clear smoky grey. Looks the part when its fitted to be honest and fits inside the HTC pouch perfectly.

You need a hacked version otherwise it won't work, plus you need the very latest version for the desire to work.
