The gt85 is primarily to keep the coilover threads clean and moisture free so they don't corrode over time. So if you clean the stock suspension it will do the same job to the springs and seats etc..

The stock suspension tends to corrode where the spring contacts the upper and lower spring seats and where the spring protectors rub on the coils of the spring. If you were to have a bit of a spring clean (see what i did there) on your stock sussies then you'd probably end up having a bit of tart up with some satin black hammerite anyway.

I normally give the droplinks and the bushes a squirt at the same time to keep them lubed up, not that they really need it.

Is that what you did or is that because they changed it for the face-lift for sound proofing.

Mite just do that as it really does my head in when i wash and wax the car and then look at those wheels arches and think that just lets the overall clean of the car down. Think its only a few screws that holds in the sound proofing anyway. Were is ur thread now as i mite need it for a little OCD cleaning

Last time I had me wheels off the arches are atrocious. Began trying to clean them, but the dirt was so thick my efforts were futile

I'll be buying some of that Megs APC, looks to of made short work of the job.
