We're driving over on the Saturday arriving in the evening. Will probably get a couple of laps in on the Sunday and save the serious circuit time for the track day on the Monday!

Chris, I'll be at Spa-Francorchamps on Saturday for the Porsche weekend. It's on the way to the Ring if you fancy a stop off. Entry is free.

We're not arriving in France until 4.30pm so hoping to be at the Ring for 8pm and thats without the detour to Spa.

Love SPA as last time I drove the Ring we did an afternoon there and managed to blag the organisers of a track day for 2 hours track time for £40 cash!!! Happy days.

Will no doubt catch up with you on the Sunday / Monday.

I'm hoping my car issues are resolved Saturday. A lot of things need to come together though.

Mine are! A couple of parts have got to arrive at my local Honda dealer tomorrow from Belgium so a mate can drive them out to Germany on Friday and I can go to the garage at 8am Saturday.

you'll be extremely lucky if you make that time!
You'll probably be coming up the E40? In that case you'll be reaching Gent by about 5.30ish and will have jams, then once out of those you will have more at Asse on the E40 which is coming up to brussels.
Then once you're out of those you'll hit the Brussels ring. Think M25 stylee delays.
Once you are the other side of the ring though and back onto the E40 then you're home free and will have a 2.5 hour blast to Koblenz...
I reckon it'll be more 9.30/10 ish at the ring.

If you fancy saying hi, then stop of at Heverlee service station on the E40 and i'll come meet an greet. Heverlee is German side of the ring by the way so you'll be free of all the jams and have a clear run from there onwards..

Got stuck around Brussels last time we went but that was Friday rush hour traffic so I was hoping Saturday would be quieter???

The only hassle you should have is the ring itself then on a saturday, but will still be flowing pretty well if some c0ck doesn't have an accident on it

possible small delay at Asse still though as theyve got some big roadworks on there i think...

E40 itself both sides should be pretty open apart from Asse though.

Possible Mark, but antwerp is pretty fecked up as well. depends when you hit it really.

Like I said to Chris, Saturday on the E40 will be fine, you shouldn't have probs and no need for a detour. E40 is by far the better route IMHO

Main = Medallions of beef with Fried potato cubes, caramalised endives, carrot, Chunky onion and mushroom sauce
Dessert = Home made Créme brullee
Cheeses if desired
Coffee

all with complimentary wines

they should hopefully be happy with that little lot

I think everything had come together nicely. My mate is en route to pick up my parts from Honda. He's driving them to Germany for me tomorrow and is driving the Teg to the garage on Saturday morning. I've also been offered a couple of lifts to the Ring on Saturday morning should my flight be cancelled tomorrow night.

Mark, if you're off work Monday you're more than welcome to come to the trackday, passengers are free.

Monday 23rd August

It was a good day. Mark aka Superbully joined us for the day and I think he was impressed with his passenger laps with Jason; Megane R26R + racing slicks = win. My DC2 was pedestrian in comparison.

Ferrari did make it in the end to test their 599XX, sounded rather nice.

I didn't crash which was a bonus
