Struggling to remove mine, keep looking for a small screw but so far no luck

some are glued on mate...god knows why when they have a lock nut.

Yup had to heat it slightly to get it to budge, will be sending up along with the door inserts (as per PM) once I have a few days where I don't need the car, possibly over the easter weekend if that suits?

hey Bren, my knob has a fair few chunks out if it thanks to the mole grips, will it still come up good?

Just like 1mm deep gouges.

Sent mine off for repair whilst I was on holiday and I am chuffed with the result. Before it was all scratched and worn (even over parts of the numbers in places) and had the requisite damage from the pipe wrench I had to use to get the damn thing off, yet it's come up beautifully; even the numbers look great. I took a couple of pics but they really don't do it justice, the thing is like new. Cheers Bren!

There is a small nut underneath the base of the knob, undo this and it should release most of them, others were also glued on in which case people have found heating them with a hairdryer works to release them (just don't burn your hand).

Hey. You done mine awhile back but wasn't that impressed to be honest, you sent it back in perfect condition but it scratches extremely easily, and I don't even wear a ring on that hand, any suggestions? Are other peoples scratching easily, even after a refurb?

Also, does anyone know where I can get a replacement nut from? I scratched it pretty badly getting the knob off, any help would be appreciated as I can't seem to find the nut I need, not even sure exactly what they're called or their size?
