Toontype-R, do you want me to let you know the estimate prices im quoted when I ring WRC tomorrow?
Yeah mate, could you, I appreciate that, the thing is I am only after my wheels refurbished because one of the alloys keeps braking the seal on my tyre, but probabley get all of them done so they all match, you just get the price for yours and I will work out from that how much it would be, but let me know what you get quoted. Top man.
Hey mate, rang WRC this afternoon. For them to do all four tyres (taking and leaving your car there) is £305. That's WRC completely stripping the alloy to the metal, getting rid of any scratches/dents/curbs and powder coating them back up and balancing all tyres too. They said the car would be with them for 2 days. Works out at £76.25 a tyre (wheather there is any discount in the total price for getting all 4 done im not sure). You think that's reasonable?
Hi mate, first of all I would like to say thanks for ringing up and letting me know the quote. To be honest I am not that clued up to wether that is a good price, but personally I think that is quite steep, someone may well post up and say what you talking about that is a good price, but me personally I wouldnt pay that, I would rather get my tyres took off somewhere and try it myself with a little help from friends, but thats just me. I am almost sure there is a place in Lytham that do it called alloy wheel expert, think they are mobile and have a workshop and its closer to you, might be worth a try. Thanks again mate
