My copy from Gameplay was sent yesterday so I will hopefully get it tomorrow. I haven't played the Beta at all but I have been really looking forward to this game as I have always loved the Battlefield series. I don't really like playing Betas as it makes the real game feel old when you get it.

Worth a buy or not then, wasn't too keen on the beta but didn't give it much of a chance.

Nope. But disappointed when I got home. If it isn't here by Friday morning, I'm buying one and sending the Game pre-order back. No way am I missing out on a day of this. The missus is out Friday night as well...perfect timing :WOOT

So, who reckons EA will f**k up the servers and we won't get a lag free game for at least a week then?

Is this a straight load and play game or does it use any middle man STEAM crap, or even make you log into windows live just to play?

read all 13 pages, think i'll go buy B:BC and see what i think. MW2 is wearing on me a bit. could do with a break. although the whole, playing as a team, camping with snipers doesnt really appeal to me, its still an army FPS.

Doesnt use windows live or steam... happy days. It does use Punkbuster to combat cheating though, which imo is way better than Steam's VAC software!.
