That's because its for a few people only, you cannot use your forum username and password on the main website at http://civictype-r.co.uk.

(A few people have been asking me this question).

I'm confused. I'm logged onto it now, so should I continue to use this or the old version dude?

Now I'm confused.

On the new main website at http://civictype-r.co.uk there is a username and password box in the bottom left. I was saying that you can't use your forum username and password to log into that area.

On the new main website at http://civictype-r.co.uk there is a username and password box in the bottom left. I was saying that you can't use your forum username and password to log into that area.

I just did though? login with forum username & password that is... :scratch:

I can put my details in, doesn't do anything when you "login" though.

Now I'm really confused as it uses a different database.

I've just tried it with one of my other forum accounts and got the message:

Code: Select all

Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

Which is correct and the expected behaviour.

not being able to log in on that new site thingy. Are we going to all cross over to there soon or do we get shifted automatic stylee..??...or are we already there..?? I'm confused.. :scratch:

The login on the website is for web editors and admins mate so they can publish new articles on there. Nothing will change for anyone using the forum.
