Purchased my CTR in 2007 and still enjoy driving it as much as the day I first drove it. I use it as my daily driver and have only started modifying the car in the last couple of years. The aim is to build a car that retains its driveability for day to day driving but improve certain areas to make the car even more enjoyable when pushing it (on track of course)

Yea I was a little dubious of the vortex at 1st but I was interested in trying something a little different. I’m told mind was the 1st EP3 torque exhaust fitted with a vortex but I know they have done 8 or so since, haven’t found anyone else on here running one though.

Its quite a loud system as there’s no silencers in it what so ever just the vortex box towards the back, its not too loud for me at the mo but will be interesting the hear what its like once I put my DC mani on , may need a silencer incorporated if its too savage.

The other factor that makes it different is the bore size of the b pipe, it 2.25" (as opposed to the more common 2.5" bore size seen on most after market exhaust for the EP3) as I was advised this will work best on a vortex but it will be interesting to see how the dyno graph compares to others we've seen on here once its been mapped. Hoping to get it done before the end of the year.

I'll try & get some video clips & pictures for you over the weekend

Yea all the systems from torque are custom made to your specification so I could of had a silencer incorporated into it but I wanted a system with optimum flow so they designed it to be as straight as possible with no silencers.

Photos of modified front bumper, spent a day in the sunshine doing this and a couple of other bits and i'm pretty happy with how this has changed the front end of the car.




I'll get some decent engine bay shots up once the rocker cover has had a clean, at the moment its an embarrassment.

Yea that’s the plan. Next job though is to get my DC exhaust manifold and RBC fitted and mapped, they've been sitting in my shed for about a year now lol.

Mite just refurb my OEM rims and paint them to match the gold colour of the j's racing strut brace brackets.

Yea thats the look im going for, trying to make a daily driver that can mix it on track too, think the CTR will be an awesome car for some track fun.
