I did try and get this sorted under warranty but the dealership refused to deal with it when I turned up with the car!
The car is also going back next March, they can sort it out then if it has to wait.

It should really be wax sealed but for some reason on some cars the wax seal is being missed.

Took to dealer who said they had taken photos and sent to Honda. Three weeks later I phoned Honda customer service who said they had heard nothing from the dealer. I said I would reject the car if not sorted and mats replaced (one of the mat rivets broke on day one and the dealer said numerous times they would replace the mats). Had a call fromt the dealer immediately saying new mats were ready and to book in for doors to be sorted. Which they were then.
Not impressed though - I expected the dealer to look after me, the customer - having spent £20K of my hard earned cash. Reality seems to be dealers are not interested once they have sold you the car. I won't be back to Bridgend Honda.

I've never found a car dealer or mechanic that's any good. Newport Ford were not much better when I had a Focus.

Im so P*SSED OFF,

I had the Rust issue and had it dealt with in June 2008. They changed the Door's and painted Both sides.

Today 20th April 2009 i washed the car a guess what! The RUST is back! Thats just over 8 months.

Im sick to the teeth with my Dealer as it is, and i wanna take this further than them. Any surgestions? Honda HQ?

Are they CW affected ive looked at my doors and its all covered up with black body tight plastic under the rubber right to the end not like the pictures shown

Any CW owners confirm ?

will be interesting to see if honda are fully aware of the problem and have tried to sort the problem out, all ways looking like a design floor to me, if they do sort my doors out i don't want it coming back!

Well i've been to look at a CW FN2 and it was infected

:bigcry: pointed it out to the dealer, he was surprised but very willing to help, will be booking mine in next week to get sorted out, and he will do the same with the CW FN2 if we can agree on a deal.

yep on top of the door, under the sill, very top corner, you have a black bit folded over the rust mark was just after it finished!

didn't have a long look but it was there, only on the passenger door
