Noise is very addictive........sounds nice below 6k and then once in vtec it's like the devil himself is at work..........awesome!.......has anyone else noticed a rather large decrease in fuel economy since fitting a quickshift or similar induction kit?

Only from you being trigger happy with the throttle to hear it in action :D

In all seriousness i've had no fuel probs, if anything it should be more efficient as the engines breathing more easily.

I fitted the ABP Quickshift induction kit three weeks ago - at first thought fuel economy had gone down but that might have been paranoia - seems to be fine now....the noise? Ah yes....on the night of fitting it I took it for a shakedown run around the block and saw, in the distance, a woman walking a dog, on the pavement....Vtec cut in, the metallic roar made her s**t herself I swear. I was laughing to myself and dribbling like a mental!

I heard people say that they've taken off or changed their cone filters because they're too noisy. Can they be too noisy????
I drove a 106 Gti before my CTR, that had a KN on and it sounded the t*ts. Whats a CTR with a filter on sound like in comparison??

Whats the difference between the quickshift filters from ABP and anywhere else. When I spoke to ABP the other day they said that the quickshift filter was something thay had developed!!
Theres a thread to a site selling suickshifts for £95.
